Hello! My name is Dr. Donald W. Zajac, and I am from Houston, Texas. I grew up right in the middle of a family of eight. From an early age, I was always fascinated by the sciences and how things worked. I would take things apart, sometimes things I was not supposed to, according to my parents, then figure out how to get them back together. No matter the result, my parents would always encourage me, which is probably where I got my positive attitude from. With this background, dentistry seemed to be a natural career for me. I went to the University of Texas Dental School in Houston and graduated at the top of my class. I have been blessed to be able practice this noble profession for over 35 years now and am amazed at how far dentistry has progressed throughout these years.

We can do things now that were just wishful thinking back in the day, from truly life-like cosmetic procedures to implants. I owned my own practice in the Las Colinas area for many years and have worked in several dental offices throughout this great state. I now have found a home here at Today Dental. I have two grown children, Nicholas and Brittany, who both are close by and live in the Denton area. I am extremely proud of them and what they have achieved in their lives. I enjoy watching the Rangers and the Cowboys, and recently started playing pickleball at my gym. I have picked up a lot of good advice along the way in dentistry and in life; but one thing that was said to me many years ago really stands out, and still holds true in this day of diversity. It is very simple: “It is the differences between us that allows us to make a difference around us.” Hope to see you soon!
